GAME FORMATS
Captain's Choice (Best Ball) - Each player tees off; team then selects the preferred shot. Each player hits the next ball from that preferred spot. The best ball is selected until the ball is holes. Team with lowest score for the round wins.
Texas Scramble (Modified Best Ball) - Teams are evenly divided. Everyone on the team tees off, then players decide which tee shot is best. All players then hit their 2nd shot from that spot; play their own ball the rest of the way into the hole. Team with lowest net for all holes wins. Everyone's drive must be used at least once.
100% Handicap, Low Gross/Net - Lowest score without handicap wins the low gross. Lowest score minus handicap wins low net. Individual event, full handicap.
Choose 5 Clubs - Before playing each player chooses 5 clubs and declares to her foursome which 5 clubs she will be using that day. The entire round is played with only those 5 clubs.
Game With Pro - Pro hits drive and ladies play from his drive on select hole.
Handicap Buddies - Group players with similar handicaps. Everyone plays their own ball and the best net score counts as team score.
Low Putts - Players keep the number of putts made on each hole. If a player scored a 7 with 2 putts, the score should record 7/2 for that hole. Player with fewest putts wins. Putts must be from on the green to count (fringe putts do not count). Can be played as a team event also. No picking up.
Lucky 4's - Scores from par 4's are the only holes that count for your score. Pro shop will subtract half of your handicap for your net score.
Mutt and Jeff - Scores from par 3's and par 5's are the only scores that count. Pro shop will subtract half of your handicap for your net score.
Nassau - First nine holes count as a score, second nine holes count as a score, and the entire 18 holes count as a score. Individual event with three net winners. Players use 100% handicap.
No Putts - All players keep their actual scores and their putts for each hole. At end of play, the Pro will subtract putts from total strokes, then adjust the handicaps. The player with fewest strokes wins.
Red and Yellow - Red tees on first nine and yellow on second nine. Individual event.
Secret Holes - Pro shop selects a hole on the front nine and a hole on the back nine. They do not tell players which holes they have selected. After all scores are turned in, these holes are deducted from your individual score.
